Why some VPNs crawl on Jio
Jio runs deep packet inspection across its network. OpenVPN, IKEv2 and WireGuard have recognisable fingerprints, so when Jio decides to manage traffic those protocols are the first to be slowed. It is not a ban, which is why a VPN app on Jio sometimes works fine at 3 a.m. and crawls at 9 p.m.

JioFiber and the router
On JioFiber the simplest route is to run the client on each device; the key covers five. If you want the whole house covered, a router that runs sing-box or OpenWrt can take the same key, but the stock JioFiber router cannot, so keep that expectation realistic.
