What Airtel does to VPN traffic
Airtel's network management is stricter than Jio's. OpenVPN and WireGuard sessions on Airtel mobile data are routinely slowed at peak hours, and some Airtel broadband circles drop IKEv2 outright. Users notice it as a VPN app that connects but loads nothing.
Reality traffic has no protocol fingerprint to slow. To Airtel it is a TLS session to a real website, indistinguishable from a bank app. That is why the same key that works on Jio works on Airtel without any Airtel-specific setting.

Setup on an Airtel line

Does Airtel block VPNs?
