Why no servers inside India
Since the 2022 CERT-In directive a provider with servers in India must keep customer records for five years. That is the opposite of a no-logs service, so, like most privacy providers, we run no physical servers in the country. People who need an Indian IP address from abroad will find that on the Indian IP page, with an honest explanation of what virtual Indian locations are and why we do not offer one.

What we know about you: almost nothing
There is no account here. You never give us an email, a phone number or a name, so there is no profile to leak, sell or hand over. We know that a key exists and when it expires. We do not know what you open with it. Our servers are outside India, which puts us out of scope of the CERT-In directive requiring providers to store user records for five years. Providers who kept servers inside the country had to choose between complying and leaving, and most of them left. We are telling you where we stand instead of implying we are beyond every jurisdiction, which no one is.

Questions people ask before the first key
Which server is fastest from India?
United Arab Emirates from most of the country, Singapore from the south and east. Both around 40 ms.
Do you have servers in India?
No. Indian servers would fall under CERT-In log retention. The nearest exits are the UAE and Singapore.
Can I get a US IP for US-only services?
Yes. The US server is on every plan; expect about 220 ms of latency.
Are all locations included on the free days?
Yes. The trial is the full service.
Can I use different locations on different devices?
Yes. Each of the five devices picks its own.
